Leading drone integration firm deepens its open source investment with dedicated engineering support for every Dronecode member
Chicago, IL — July 7, 2026 — Ascend Engineering, a leading drone integration provider, today announced it is supplying project success consulting hours to the Dronecode Foundation as new benefit to its members. Every member organization will receive 15 hours of expert consulting annually courtesy of Ascend, with Platinum and Gold members also receiving priority requests for pull request review.
The initiative builds on Ascend’s growing role in the open source aerial robotics community. As a Dronecode Silver Member the official flight test provider for PX4, and the employer of multiple PX4 ecosystem maintainers, Ascend is uniquely positioned to help members build on PX4, Pixhawk, QGroundControl, MAVLink, and MAVSDK with confidence. Dronecode members will be able start projects faster, move with confidence by reducing integration risk, and not have to divert internal resources from their main focus.
A Rising Tide for a Growing Ecosystem
